Default RE: Making a living from online poker?

I reckon you're just about hanging in there. lol

According to Lee Jones "Good" would be 2.5 big bets an hour in a live game, so if you play 33.33 hands an hour thats 7.5 BB/100.

Online thats 2.5 big bets an hour for online play since it is 2-3 times faster.

Remember this is on average not just 50 - 100 hours of play, but hundreds of hours.

Also this is for GOOD players not just slightly better than average players.

So killfishs article dosen't seem too "phenomenal". Possible yes, but i don't know how much better than just a winning player you would have to be.

Also, if you're multitabling then thats 2.5bets per hour per table if you can play multitables as good as you play one table.

So thats a POSSIBLE 10 big bets an hour.

I'm fairly new to limit so haven't put the hours in to find out for myself yet but seems possible at .50/1. At higher limits than this I don't know, the games look a lot tighter.

I'm curious about the posters who say 2BB/100 is a good return.

What limits is this at??? online or live?

Asking cos its pretty different to 7.5BB being a good return.

Also online limits don't seem to corrospond to live play. Where 3/6 in a casino plays like .50/1 online and 3/6 online is a tough game compared to 3/6 live.
