No, Windows Vista is not in the list of supported operating systems, see PokerOffice system requirements. We will add it in the future but it takes time to get it certified. However, reports from our users all say it should work as long as you do not use a user restricted account to install or run PO. Make sure you both install and run PokerOffice as administrator. To run PokerOffice as administrator, right click on the PokerOffice icon and select "Run as administrator".
Some users must turn off the user account control (UAC) completely:
1. click start
2. click on Control panel
3. click on User accounts
4. click on Turn user control on or off
5. Uncheck the box
6. click on O.K
For the Windows Vista users playing on Full Tilt
Please right-click the file FTPL.exe and run it as administrator, note that you have to start a Full Tilt Poker table before doing this. The FTPL.exe file can be found at C:\Program Files\PokerOffice\bin.
Change theme to Windows Standard
Some users have reported that they run into problems if they're using a theme other than Windows Standard.
1. Right click the Windows Vista Desktop and select Personalize
2. Select Window Color and Appearance
3. Select Windows Standard in the Color Scheme Selection Box, and then hit OK
Restart PokerOffice if it's running.
