Default I'm having problems at PokerStars, what can I do?

If you are having problems at PokerStars you should check that:

1. You are using English language in the PokerStars client. Go to Options-> Language in the Stars lobby and make sure it's set to English. PokerOffice only supports the english version.
2. Your hand histories are set to English. Go to Options->Instant Hand History Options in the Stars lobby and make sure thet are set to English.
3. The dealer chat option is set to Everything at the table, which you do by opening a poker table and clicking the chip tray.
4. You have selected to save your hand histories to your hard drive (Options -> Instant Hand History Options...)
5. The hand histories in fact are saved in the folder you have set in the hand history options. Hand histories should be written as soon as the hand is over.
6. You're using one of the themes provided by Poker Stars.
7. If you are using Windows Vista, make sure to run PokerStars as administrator by right-clicking the icon, and choosing Run as Administrator

If "Save My Hand Histories" is activated and your hand histories are not getting saved to the folder specified, below are some suggestions that should solve your problem:

1. It is possible that the folder where you are trying to save the files is write protected (Program Files folder is often protected). To fix this, simply go back to the Instant Hand History Options and set the folder to "My Documents" or similar folder outside of the Program Files folder.

2. Your Configuration File is Corrupted. To fix this one, simply go to Help -> Open My Settings Folder. Then close PokerStars, and in the newly opened folder, locate the file named "user" (or "user.ini"). Right click on it, and select Rename. Name it "user.old" and then press Enter to confirm the change. Please note that renaming this file will revert all user defined options to their default setting and you will need to reset those options.

If you still can't get it to work, you should try this:

1. Open PokerOffice
2. Go to Settings -> Preferences -> Advanced
3. Choose to specify your PokerStars hand history location
4. Enter the correct path to your PokerStars hand history folder, i.e. on my
computer it's C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory.
5. Restart PokerOffice
6. Try again

After using the PokerStars hand replayer to view the last hand(s) PokerOffice stops tracking my table(s). Why is this?
We're currently experiencing problems with the PokerStars hand Replayer since PokerOffice detects it as an actual table. After closing the Replayer PokerOffice will no longer track your table(s) correctly. For the time being we strongly recommend you to not use the Replayer.
