Default Total Stats Or Session Stats

When tracking other plays , do you think it is more advisable to use sessional stats or total stats, bearing in mind that ppl chang ethere playing styles very often???

Before I took the year off, I used to use overall stats. Over time, people don't really vary their play as much as we think, and session stats can be skewed by the cards they're getting dealt in that session.

I generally agree with GoldBoar's point of view. I do think it can be a good idea to display session stats for your own player though.

Wink I use both Session and Overall stats

I set up live tracker to show mostly overall stat and set up my table overlay to show session stats. I can only show about for or five differnt stats on the overlay but if you pick the right ones it can be very helpful for that particular session. I use hands played, Vol$InPot, PreFlopRaise and AggFactorPostFlop, Why these, I just like to see how tight/aggressive a particular player is and how tight/aggressibe the table is also.

Don't forget that you can also customize the stats for the pop-up windows as well (Customize Poker Table Overlay -> Popups).

If you mix your play, it could be nice to see what image your opponent have from you, especialy if they use a poker tracker too...

If our own session stats was available at table, while you have overall stats for your opponent, you could play with your table image...

I already asked that in feature request; Being able to get our own sessions stats or our last 200 hands, or last 500 hands, or just hands at this particular table for today) while you have at same time the overall stats for your opponents.

To play with your image... But...

After 5 years am playing on pokerstar, i can say some player really improve their game since, and for those, of course, my overall data for them arent exactly true...

Saw some tight/extra-passive who became tight/agressive...

having an option to filter opponents stats for last year, or for last 6 months only or even for last 2 weeks could help in those case...

Dont beleive players dont change the way they play..., maybe one of your opponent he's on tilt since cople of days or weeks, but cause you have 5K hands from him, played from last 3 years, you'll not noticed it if he was a super tight/passive for exemple.

___

At least, it could be very nice to have one option to determine the limit of time (delay) in the past you want stats, for example last 3 months, or last month. Cause session stats is too short, and overall could not reflect the reality of the day (or the week)

___

The simpliest way could be; once i filtered my DB for december 09 to January 10, only hands played from me AND me opponents are displayed at table... An option between overall and session stats, wich include our own stats

One thing is sure, it have something to do to improve this feature...

Thanks

Default Player Summary not showing all my sessions/limits

Hi,
Im new to pkr office. In the main window, under player summary, it just has 2 limits, however i've played for weeks at various limits. But all at the new Purple Lounge software, the live tracker works for purple lounge, so i assumed the pkr office db should be updated?

Any advice or similar sufferers??
