Default Recomended Computers

I'm wondering what computers people would recommend for running poker office, or if not individual computers atleast listing what size memory is sufficient to run poker office at a high level.

Cool My config

hi,
I have a portable computer (HP/Compaq 6710b)
Core Duo 1.8, 2 Go Ram, and i am quite happy with it.

Po+MySQL+FullTilt = less than 6% CPU and 150Mo Ram used
All this does use quite a lot of wirtual memory, lets say at least the double.

U mostly need CPU when importing hands.

So a basic Duo CPU with 2Go RAM and a fast disk (minimum 7200) is a good thing (from my point of view)

Regards

Talking

I am running an AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 2.2Ghz 3582 MB Ram
Vista

For the most part everything runs smoothly up until the data base reaches about the 60k hand and above range.

I run into alot of issues when importing large databases 100k plus. I've left the computer to import for 8 hours and the processing still did not finish. I finally gave up and just shut the system down myself. After rebooting though it did manage to import the majority of the hands somewhere around 60% or about 60k of em.

Overall I'm still quite happy with PO, the Live tracker, overlay, stats etc. all the real-time stuff is excellent info.

Databasing though I hope PO3 is much improved.

Peace
