Default Thinking about getting PokerOffice

Hi there.

I'm thinking about getting PokerOffice but I have some questions.

A. It seems like PokerOffice don't have the function where you can export handhistories. I found a thread with a script that could do that but it seemed really complicated. Is there, or will there be an easier way to export handhistories from PokerOffice?

B. Is there a summary tab somewhere in PokerOffice? I used Pokertracker 2 before and they had a summary table where you see combined stats for all players at a selected limit. I've tried the evaluation copy of PO but it seems like you can only get playerspecific stats?

C. Is there a way to export stats to excel?

/G

Unfortunately there is no way to this automatically, but this will probably get changed in our next major release.
A: To export hand histories from Poker Office you need to:

1. Go to Ring Games -> Overview,
2. Click the level (or "Summary" if you wish to export all hands) from which you want to export hands.
3. You will now be able to see all your Game Id's in the Game Details tab, click the first Game Id (not on the clickable link though)and then hit Ctrl +a, which will highlight all the hand histories.
4. Then right click on one of the Game Id's and choose Show HandHistory for selected hands.
5. A new window with all the hand histories will now pop up, highlight a small part of the text and then hit Ctrl +a and then hit Ctrl +c.
6. Then open a text file (notepad document) and hit Ctrl +v, and then save the file to your hard disk.

B: You can combine all the players in you Database but this will be very system heavy if you have a big database.

C: We dont have this feature.

Thanks for your speedy reply.

I got the error message "only old hands detected in the selection" when I tried to use "show hand history". The hands I tried to view was played at PokerStars today.

You need to play and not only observe the tables if you want to replay or show your own HH.
You can also try to manually import HH with PO. If it still doesn´t then do as below:

Can you please send your log file, which you can find at c:/program files/pokeroffice/log/systemlog.txt, to support@pokeroffice.com.

I just find the hand histories folder in the poker sites folder (c:\ program files\ pokerstars\ hh.. for example) and copy / export from there ;0)
Most poker sites have a hand history folder, or you can instruct them to store hand histories locally, in which case they'll make one.
