WANTED: Beta testers for new major version of PokerOffice (PokerOffice 5)

On September the 5th PokerOffice will release a Beta containing all the new features we have been working on for the past year. The new version will be called PokerOffice 5. There are quite a few new exiting features and we have tried to add as much of the requested features as possible. We have added a lot of new stats and have re-worked the overlay a great deal to just name a few of the new features. Please read below for the full features list.

We are now looking for dedicated and thorough beta tester who is willing to test our beta and its future updates. Please consider before you apply that you will have to try and provide us with as much useful information as possible, we need testers that can play a lot and preferably play on several poker rooms or several buy-ins. Furthermore all Beta testers will need a valid PokerOffice 2 registration. In addition to the fun that comes with testing new features before everyone else, we will also have some kind of reward system for our most diligent testers.

To avoid any confusion regarding the new version and how the licensing will work: The new version will be free to anyone who already has a subscription for PokerOffice 2.

Short summary of new major features in PokerOffice 5

- New Look & Feel -

A new modern look and feel for the whole application.

- More Statistics -

A lot more statistics. PokerOffice 5 will contain over 200 statistics to chose from. 3bet, 4bet, fold to 3bet, Aggression frequency, Fold to continuation bet %, 4bet after 3betting % and much much more.

- New Overlay -

A completely new overlay with integrated popup windows. By clicking the new buttons in the overlay you can bring up four popup windows with additional information for each player around the table. The popup windows will appear directly on the poker client. Each popup window has filters so you can filter the data accordingly.

Notes Popup Window: A note taking system integrated with the main PokerOffice application. You can write and read notes from the overlay and analyze them in the main PokerOffice program and vice versa.

Detailed Statistics Popup Window: Will display more detailed statistics for the player you select directly on the table. You can choose from any of the available statistics and also filter the stats on the position around the table.

Starting Hands Popup Window: Shows all the starting hands a certain player has played. Can be filtered for position, preflop raise, limp/reraise, 3bet, etc.

Flop Hands Popup Window: Shows all the hands a player has had on the flop (e.g. Top Pair + Open End Str Draw) and how they have been played. Can be filtered on Bet, Check, Call, Check Raise, 3 Bet, etc.

Overlay color ranges for stats: Possibility to specify color ranges for statistics depending on the underlying value. You can for example specify to show a red color if a player has a preflop raise % above 15 %.

Overlay Table Image: Possibility to chose to only show session stats for your own player to see your perceived table image.

Overlay Mucked Board Cards. Displays the mucked board on the overlay in addition to the mucked cards.

- Fish Finder -

A new player search routine enables the user to search for players from the entire database on certain criteria’s. You can select any of the over 200 statistics and specify ranges to filter out bad (and possibly) good players. Possibility to export users to Excel and text files.

- Plug Ins & Custom Stats -

With PokerOffice 5 you can write your own statistics in the Java Programming language and plug these into PokerOffice. Possibility to share and exchange custom written statistics with other users. Any type of statistic can be written; lets say that you for example would like to see "fold to 3bet when first to bet out on the flop %"-statistic. You can easily write this yourself or find someone with basic knowledge in the Java programming language to write it for you. The statistic can be used in all parts of PokerOffice (main application, overlay, live window, etc). You can also write your own filter to filter out any kind of situation you might be interested in from your database.

- New improved Statistics Engine -

A completely new, rewritten, statistics engine. Features an advanced caching routine that can cache all data and hence only needs to
access the database for never shown data. Hence there is no loading time at all for old data. A LOT faster than PokerOffice 2.

- More filter options -

Extended possibility to filter out any sort of hand on the flop, turn and river. Very specific hands can now be filtered out and analyzed. Now also possible to write your own filters or import filters that others have written, and hence any situation can be filtered out.

- Custom Statistics Tables -

Build and populate your own tables with the stats you select. Fully customizable.

- New Database backbone & structure -

The default McKoi database in PokerOffice 2 has been exchanged for the much faster H2 database engine.
