Default Live Tracker -- Full Tilt -- Not Running -- ftpl.exe missing

I was trying to use the Live Tracker mode and continue to receive a failure "The full-tilt tracking engine could not be launched .... lauch manually". However, when I go the location identified ...\Poker Office\Bin there is no file called ftpl.exe -- I searched the files on the enitre computer and this file does is not on the computer. I have checked for all of the udpates and uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled with no luck. Windows Vista

I have Norton Anit-Virus and it looks like that was the issue. Deactivated and reinstalled and worked like a charm (except manual having to launch). Reactivated Norton and everything still works. Thanks for the help!!!!

be warewnd - not sure if Norton is like mcafee, but mcafee detects and deletes FTPL the moment it ceases running. i.e. as soon as i finish a table, FTPL stops and McAfee deletes it.

I then have to halt mcafee, and restore FTPL every time i wish to use it.

unfortunately because mcafee considers FTPL a trojan you cannot overide it or order it not to delete it .... and it is damn infuriating

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to exist a workaround for McAfee. I have informaed the developers about this, and hopefully they'll be able to remake the file like they did with pnthandler.dll a while back.

please give me an idea as to the priority this is being given. I can understand that work is being concentrated on the new PO version 3,4,5 or whatever it will be called but I need Full Tilt so if this isnt going to be resolved quickly then say so so I can switch to an alternative program

I just talked to the developers, and I'm afraid they haven't found a solution for this problem yet. They will try to find a workaround but can't guarantee it will be quick unfortunately.
