Avast found a trojan in finalizepatch.exe.

After installing this update I get
"PO has a pending update running.
You need to reboot your computer before you can start PO."
no matter how many times I reboot. (Windows XP)

What to do?

i can no longer open poker office for the same reason mentioned by the previous guy.
i'm also on windows XP, and in case it matters, i was VPNd into another network when i was downloading and installing the files before the reboots
furthermore, immediately after the first reboot (and before trying to open PO again), i got a windows error pop-up but accidentally closed it before reading it. it has not come up on subsequent reboots.

and i also run avast and it also identified finalizepatch.exe as a virus

I also run Avast, and i had this same problem. I managed to fix it by disable avast while i download the patch & install, then reboot, disable it again, go to the pokeroffice-directory, run the finalizepatch.exe-file manually, then enable avast again.

Thanks Ziraili!

I solved it by reinstalling v2.50 from the PO catalog and taking no action with Avast.
Then just rebooting.

Go to C:\Program Files\PokerOffice and double click the file "finalize patch".

Hello

I have install. the update and also try the "finalize patch". And it says that the poker office is already been install. When i open a ongame table the livetracker box is comming up, and can se the name of the table in the box, but i can se no cards and no statestick on the table. And a box is comming up whit this : Microsoft windows the box name, and in the box is standing: pr.exe is not working no more. What can i do ????

I have the same problem. I cannot install the update, I get a virus warning. Clicking on finalize patch does nothing, as it will not allow me access Also, where is the PO "catalog" if I can try from there?
