I had the same problem. This procedure from FT support fixed it. Your Windows login name may be obvious - if you don't know what it is, try going to the directory they list first. Also, one of these directories on my system was "hidden". If you can't find yours, go to Explorer, click "Tools", click "View", click "Show hidden files and folders." That's for XP, other versions may be different.

We would like you to delete and restore your preference file in an attempt to resolve this issue , as it may have become corrupt.
Following this procedure will reset some of your settings, including the order your games are sorted in the lobby, but it will not affect your hand histories or player notes.
For Windows XP:
You'll need to know your Windows login name. If you don't know it, here's how to retrieve it:
1) Open the "Start" menu, and select "Run".
2) In the pop-up window, type "command", and select "OK".
3) In the command prompt window, type: %username%
This error will display: '[your username]' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
The text within the quotes is your Windows login name.
To reset your preferences , first close the Full Tilt Poker software, and then complete these 2 steps:
1) Navigate to "C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Windows Login Name]\Local Settings\Application Data\FullTiltPoker".
2) Locate and delete the file "[your FT user name]_user.prefs".
Once you've followed the above steps, please reopen the Full Tilt Poker software, and see if it now functions correctly.
