Default Color scheme changes to Windows Vista Basic.

Hello,

How can I stop PO from changing my Windows Vista color scheme to "Vista Basic" everytime I start PO?

This appears to be caused by the 'Java 2 Platform' when PO runs.

Please help.

Thank you!

We haven't started testing Poker Office with Windows Vista yet so I'm not sure how to solve this. You're right that it's caused by the Java Platform, I found a thread about this problem here: http://www.pokq.com/forum/viewtopic....+windows+vista

Eh, I have a feeling it's something set in PO itself thats causing it.

I've run many different Java apps, some more older than PO and they don't cause Vista to turn Aero off. If I had to guess I'd probably say it's related to how you're screen scraping in Java.

It's because we have not implemented support for it yet (we use an older look and feel)

Our goal is to fully support Windows Vista within two months.

I just downloaded and tested Poker Office, but Vista still runs into the Basic theme when I run Poker Office. Also, I've heard of problems with Poker Office in combination with PokerStars and Vista.

Any news on that topic? As soon as this problem is fixed, I'll buy Poker Office within minutes...

Unfortunately the developers haven't yet been able to get rid of all the Vista bugs, which is why we haven't release official support yet. It should be much longer though.
