This method (using the file in the bin folder) seems to have worked for me, for now, hopefully for a while. Thanks.

Question

I have tried and re-tried this but I still have no luck. I still don't get anything. Live tracker shows the name of the table I'm playing at but I get nothing else.

Any suggestions? Any Vista compatible versions coming?

For those of you who can't get it to work even after manually starting the FTPL.exe file as administrator, please hit Ctrl + alt + del the next time you start it, and then go to the processes tab - is FTPL.exe listed there?

Vista is currently beeing tested by the developers.

i have had all the above vista problems - but on stars, and none of the things in these forums have helped. I just checked and with crtl-alt-del - it shows poker office as a program but nothing I can recognise as a process.

Have you tried to turn off the Windows Vista user account control?

Can you please also double check that:

1. You are using english language in the PokerStars client. Go to Options->Language in the Stars lobby and make sure it's set to "English". PokerOffice only supports the english version.
2. That your hand histories are set to english. Go to Options->Instant Hand History Options in the Stars lobby and make sure thet are set to "English".
3. The dealer chat option is set to Everything at the table
4. That you have selected to save your hand history to your hard drive (look in the options menu in the lobby)
5. that the hand histories in fact are saved in the folder you have set in the hand history options. Hand histories should be written as soon as the hand is over.
6. Check that you're using one of the themes provided by Poker Stars.

Can you please send your log file to support@pokeroffice.com. You can find the log file at c:/program files/pokeroffice/log/systemlog.txt.

This method works fine for me with Full Tilt in Vista. However, may we assume an update will be available soon for this problem (i know Vista isn't officially supported)? For now, manually starting FTPL works fine but may be a little annoying in the long run.

Starting FTPL.exe is a temporary solution and the developers will definitely try to come up with something more convenient. It will definitely change as soon as Vista is supported (if not sooner).

Any change?
The only thing it changed for me is I get cards and odds (lower half of live tracker) nothing else. I sent in my log files.
