Agreed. I've used PO for 2 years now and have really found a lot of use it it. Unfortunately, the amount of drawbacks are also making me think that there is a better software option. Here are my gripes with PO.
1) Support on weekends. While I appreciate the quick response to most of the larger issues, I think it's crappy that they don't do anything on weekends. PO users shouldn't have to wait for business hours to wait for poker office fixes and responses. Most of the good poker is on the weekends and at night.
2) Vista support. Considering how many people are using Vista now, it's ridiculous that it still isn't supported. It's another sign that PO is the software of the past. How can you continue to get business when your software doesn't support the operating system that comes with new computers? I spent 2000 dollars for a fancy new poker laptop and have numerous problems associated with running Vista. Software should work better with new technology, not worse.
3) Static Software-. I haven't noticed any major features additions in the 2 years I've been using PO, (or at least ones that I use). I've seen so many great suggestions in the "feature request" forum that are probably in other, newer poker software. Meanwhile, PO can't even update quickly enough to support vista. It just seems like maybe the company doesn't have the resources to give serious online poker players what they are looking for. We may all be better going with the bigger guys who can at least afford to change as the needs of customers change.

I agree completely on 2 and 3. I can understand missing support at weekends, but it really is outrageous to have program that does not support most current OS.
It is also sad that I have to agree that we are talking about very static program. There hasn't been any improvements in last 2 years. Some of those good suggestions seems so easy to add, but we are getting nothing. We are just getting patches that fixes bugs.
Truth is that I really don't know what to do. I have installed and tried PT2 and it worked fine in my Vista, but I still have to say that PO as it is now, is better. This was propably because I have got used to PO, and relly didn't know how to use PT2.
So I just keep restarting PO when it crashes, Accepting the fact that profit graph is not available and clicking those Windows messages about crashing procedures.
We have been getting promises for quite long time now, promises that things will get better in the near future. But as paying customer I must say that those promises are starting to sound annoying. It almost sounds like blackmail, please just keep paying your annual fee and problems will be fixed.
We don't need promises anymore, we need real responses to our problems. Its real money we are paying.

I really hope that you will all feel that it was worth the wait once our new improvements are released. I'm letting you know as much as I can, though I realize that you'd like me to be more specific. My last post was more specific (date wise) than my previous posts, and I hope that I will be able to be even mroe speicific soon. Many of the improvements are user requested ones, so your input is definitely apriciated.

Perhaps you can tell us how many devolpers are working on PO 3.x !
I m still using PO daily and did not find a better piece of pokersoftware so far.
Otherwise I do not understand, why I should pay an annual fee for a software, if there is no visible development.
So please give us more informations about future plans and timetables.
A satsfied customer.

First of all, I'm very glad to hear that you are a satisfied customer thus far. I think, and hope, that this will also be the case in the future.
The thing is that I can't be much more specific than I was earlier in this thread; expect some major changes during spring/summer. Some of the most important things are: greatly improved speed, lots of new filters and lots of new stats. These things have been requested most by our users. I of course understand that you don't wish to pay an annual fee without seeing new features and/or improvements.
Once the developers wishes to be more exact date wise I will make sure to let you guys know.

I'm testing PT3, and it looks like good, BUT I think PO still better because of odd pods calculating and so.
BUT PO support is awful, Pacific Poker still not upgraded, slow update after poker room upgrade, etc etc. And PO has yearly fee...
I was very happy when I've got PO, but now I am almost sure, I wont renew my license...
You say PO3 will be here in the summer. Maybe.
But PT3 is coming in March, and if I play poker I want to play poker and enjoy it and I don't want to restart PO and/or my computer and/or poker room, because PO is still crashing and live tracker doesn't find the table...
Now days more and more softwares are coming, and your lack of communications about upgrade and new versions not so good marketing for you IMHO. You'll lost your members...

Would be great to get one year for free using poker office, I love this software but honestly, it has some bugs respectively some missing features (supporting popular pokerrooms, etc.)
What do you think about it?
Would be a great offer by you or at least a discount of xx % for signging po another year
do customers receive an mail with the date when their po licence run out?

I gotta say, I love Poker Office too even though it has f*&%$d up on me that many times, I continue to use it because it's familiar and I like it. The fact that Vista is still not supported and other issues (re: Pacific Poker, ongoing Full Tilt problems) is just disgraceful. I don't want to switch to PT3, I really don't! But, like others, if there are never any new developments or improvements with PO, what choice do we have?
