For example my last hand...I wasn't even sure who started the betting. So I just kept betting...and betting...and betting...but lucky the 2 hit the river. How are we dummies suppose to know how many outs a 2 is?? huh?? Support??

I don't think I even have enough now to purchase PO 3 ....Wait.....

At this point we've been testing PO 2.42 on quite a few Vista and XP computers, but we've not been able to recreate the problems some of you are experiencing. All I can advise right now is for you to send your logs so that we can keep looking at them.

Default Same problem

I have been having the same problem. I haven't posted on the forum, but have been emailing to the admin. I am running XP and it seems the overlay works sometimes, but my biggest problem is when I refresh the game, it doesn't show on my tournament tab. I see the hand history's in my PO file, but they don't show up on the PO main screen. I have tried all the fixes PO has suggested. It may be that this is one of the big fixes that take them a long time to figure out. Maybe it is not worth the money to renew, we will see.

I posted above that I was having problems with stars overlay etc running XP. After some fiddling I managed to get it working better, (played 2x 3 hour sessions) not sure what did the trick, but think it may have been to do with one of the folllowing:

opaque / transparent background text setting changed back and forth
table stats off - never used them anyway so left them off
changed ddatabase to mysql - to be honest i did this because I had the time to, and it stopped me from playing and losing money whislt PO was playing up. Good though as much improves performance.

Not sure if any one of these thins made the difference or what but the first two are easy to test, and the third has benefits in its own right, so worth a shot.

It does still seem a little glitchy, stats dont always reappear after showdowns, and have to refresh DB in main application, but only once in a while, and outs summary dissapeared too.

Now all that said, I am told the stars have issued a new software update today. I will report back when its tested on there.
