Lightbulb Still working...

hp,

try what I did!

Reinstall update237.exe to PO.

This should be in your PO program folder.

This was what worked for me on Vista x64 Ultimate Edition.

I played 2.943 hands since yesterday without any problems (max. tables 12). Opened and closed it serveral times. By the way, BB/100=9! ;-) - nice update

Daniel

Daniel-

I'm having the same frustrating experience as hq. I got it to work for a while, then poof! Gone again. Also running Vista. I've tried everything, including following hq's instructions, to overwriting program, to uninstalling and reinstalling w/o program update to 2.42, then doing the program update. Nothing works. Still get only pot odds and playable outs stats as table overlay, plus across the top I see only a list of player stats which I'm directing the program to compute and post across each player. But the stats are not posting.

What I haven't done is to reinstall update 237.exe because I don't have it in my folder. Can you direct me to it online or email it to me? edress is epowerhawaii@aol.com. Much obliged!!

Don

Unhappy

Looks like my case is very stuborn. I downloaded the file, then re-booted, then ran the file. Installed 2.37. It again asked me to allow re-boot so I said "yes". Then I fired up the program from the icon on my start list. Of course, a pop-up asked me whether I wanted to upgrade to 2.42, and I said "no". So now I guess I'm running 2.37. I then fired up PStars and went to a NL cash game on Stars, sat down, and began to play.

Result: Same...have only minimal table overlay, with no posting for each player of statistics, nor table composite, nor stats on myself.

Any idea what I omitted or did wrong? Grrrrrr, this is frustrating! I, too, am on tilt.

PS: I just ran through all of the above steps again, and verified that the program I'm now running is version 2.37....with the same result.

PPS: is there a way that I can uninstall Poker Stars and then reinstall a version that was prior to the 7-29-08 "PO killer" updated verson? Looks like the major change on 7-29 was a "replay" sub-program.
